Working for this expanding business to assist with their growing team and client accounts, you will be responsible for providing first and second line support to a range of SME clients for calls placed via telephone, e-mail and a web based helpdesk system. You will develop and maintain a good working relationship with the main contacts at each client and also develop a thorough knowledge of the systems at each client’s site.
As the company grows, new IT Support Technicians will fall under your management, so experience of overseeing a team would be beneficial. You must have a thorough knowledge of the various versions of Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server) in an Active Directory environment, Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Small Business Server, Microsoft Office, SME business networks (thorough understanding of DNS, DHCP, network routing, VLANs etc.).Any other experience of typical SME applications will be a bonus.
In addition, you will be expected to deliver both on and offsite support, so a full driving licence and access to their own car will be required.
