My client is a well respected worldwide supplier of sophisticated Healthcare and Medical Software Solutions. This instantly recognisable market leader is well known for their innovative products and solutions, and provides a complete portfolio of integrated software solutions for the Healthcare sector. They have representation throughout the world and offer 'best in class" solutions across their product range.
Following expansion, they seek to recruit a customer focused IT Technical Support Engineer, responsible for the support of a range of IT Medical / Healthcare Systems including PACS and RIS.
Ideally you will live in one of the following locations: Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire or Leicestershire.
In this highly rewarding and varied role, the job holder will have full responsibility for the support of a wide range of Healthcare IT systems. You will offer telephone and email-based support to provide a first point of technical contact with customers and second line support for internal departments. You will act to resolve incidents with PACS and RIS systems and will handle a variety of events in the following technology areas: PACS, RIS, Solaris, SUN and all windows and client server versions.
The successful applicant will derive from an IT support or service background. Knowledge of MS-SQL and Oracle databases is important and any exposure to Microsoft Operating Systems, Solaris and Networking would be advantageous. Applications are welcomed from individuals with experience of healthcare IT, medical IT systems, PACS or RIS, seeking the opportunity to progress their careers with a market leader. An ITIL accreditation would also be advantageous.
