IT procurement category manager - London - £450 - 500/ day
A leading media organisation is currently looking for a IT procurement category manager with strong inter-personal skills to join their leading procurement function and work within a developing category for a period of 6 months
This role will involve:
Managing all supplier & 3rd Party relationships across specified IT and Technology procurement categories including hardware and networks
Building relationships with key stakeholders in Technology and delivering on set targets
Negotiating key contracts and advising on SLA's and commercial models for clients
Supporting the group purchasing managers with strategy and sourcing initiative implementations
The following skills are required:
Knowledge of technology procurement an in-depth experience in negotiating IT/Technology contracts
Experience in agreeing SLA's and KPI's for a range on IT services including hardware and networks
Strategic category management, supplier management and negotiation skills
The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
