Import Clerk – looking to recruit an Import clerk who has previously worked in airfreight or seafreight freight forwarding operations. The role will be to handle import shipments from start to finish, taking booking details, liaising with shipping lines, airlines and carries, arranging collections and deliveries, processing import documentation and using import software such as CHIEF etc, tracing and tracking import freight and updating customers with ETA’s. Knowledge of completing Import customs clearances would be an added advantage though not essential. Personal development and ongoing training is available to the successful candidate and my client is willing to consider candidates with freight forwarding experience either airfreight imports or sea freight imports.
