This highly successful, rapidly expanding award winning tour operator that have a history spanning over 250 years urgently requires an India Travel Reservations Consultant to join their reservations team.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE TRAVELLED EXTENSIVELY TO THE FOLLOWING DESTINATIONS AND MUST INCLUDE A DETAILED TRAVEL PROFILE WITH THEIR CV.
Must have travelled extensively throughout India especially Northern India. Sri Lanka, Bhutan or Nepal would be a bonus.
As an India Travel Reservations Consultant you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
* Booking all aspects of travel to India
* Up-selling and adding on of ancillary products including insurance, excursions, etc…
* Dealing with the public and travel agents by telephone
* Processing efficiently all reservations
* Ensure all bookings are dealt with accurately
* Administration duties required to complete bookings
India Travel Reservations Consultant remuneration package:
* Basic salary from £18000 + commission
* 20 days holiday plus public/bank holidays
* Predominately Monday to Friday rota
India Travel Reservations Consultant skill attributes:
* Extensively travelled within the above countries
* Travel industry sales experience
* Good sales techniques
* An excellent telephone manner
* Attention to detail
* The ability to meet tight deadlines
* To work under pressure whilst maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.
* Must be to work on own initiative or as part of a team
* A high standard of written English
