46003226 Indirect Tax Manager North West £45000 to £55000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 20/11/2009 18:54 Job Role We are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager who will work autonomously for a superior client portfolio within the UK`s largest Indirect Tax group. Working across our clients different tax services groups, from an early stage you will find that work is pushed down from partners to the team providing you with the opportunity to take on responsibility earlier in your career.
The role will involve advising on all of the main indirect taxes including VAT, Customs Duties, Insurance Premium Tax and, increasingly, Environmental Taxes.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading business development initiatives on target accounts, contributing to winning new work
- Leading existing client engagements, reporting direct to a partner
- Developing less experienced staf
Ideally for the role of Indirect Tax Senior Manager you will be ATT or CTA or equivalent qualification or experience, have prior VAT experience gained within professional services or HMRC. You will also have excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness
