Information Security Officer - ISO27001/ISO27002 - £35k basic + benefits - Hatfield, Hertfordshire
An Information Security Officer is required by this growing company to take responsibility for the
Information Security Management System (ISMS) and to maintain all policies, procedures and relevant standards and supporting documentation. The role will involve scheduling security meetings,
producing reports, statistical analysis, maintaining the risk register, ad-hoc Information Security Awareness training, managing audit/compliance activities (i.e. assessing operational procedures, health checks, CMDB management, liaising with external audit organisations etc..) and general information security policy documentation.
Skills Required:
# Excellent understanding of ISO27001 and ISO27002 Information Security Standards
# Ability to manage and deliver Projects through to successful conclusion
# Good working knowledge of European Data Protection Laws
Skills Desired:
# Any of the following Information Security Accreditations
1) ISACA - Certified Information Security Auditor
2) ISACA - Certified Information Security Manager
3) CompTiA Security+
4) ISEB Certificate in Data Protection
# PRINCE2 Project Management Accreditation
# Knowledge of COBIT Information Security Best Practice Framework
