Blair Endersby is a fast growing personal insolvency company based in Manchester City Centre. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an Insolvency Team Manager to join the team to maximise client retention and ensure clients comply with the terms of their IVA by proactive real-time management of a team of Insolvency Administrators, to develop, coach and improve each team members knowledge and skills through a continuous development process and to ensure that Insolvency Administrators operate within the guidelines of an IVA whilst building & maintaining a positive client relationship
Key Responsibilities:
Managing & Supporting People:
- Provide 1st line support for any escalated calls and IVA queries providing follow up coaching for Insolvency Administrators as required
- Coach and develop Insolvency Administrators in support of agreed development plans and by conducting monthly one to one’s in addition to weekly performance reviews
- Work with the Head of Account Management to ensure that team communication is considered by conducting daily huddles, team meetings and by delivering written communication to the team as required
- Assist the Head of Account Management in the recruitment and selection
- Assist in the Induction training for new Insolvency Administrators.
- Devise and implement ad-hoc competitions and challenges to drive employee motivation and improved performance
- Personally take accountability for and manage performance issues and unacceptable conduct or behaviour
Policies and Procedures:
- Adhere to and deploy all Business and HR policies and guidelines
- Regularly review current processes and practices and make recommendations for improvements
- Take ownership of and support continuity for the deployment of processes, policies and practices for the department as a whole
- Assist the Head of Account Management in investigating and responding to any customer/client complaints that are received in line with any appropriate regulations and agreed business standards
- Work with departmental technical experts to support personal development and to ensure that team operates within IVA parameters
Relationships:
- Resolve client queries effectively and quickly
- Proactively work with team to build and maintain client relationships that are regarded as the best in the industry
- Work closely with own team and other Blair teams to support service levels and client expectations
Skills and Experience:
- Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent.
- Proven experience in personal insolvency ideally within Supervisory.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel – Intermediate Level, Word and Outlook.
- Proven and adaptable management style in order to get results and help individuals achieve their full potential.
- Engaging leadership style, able to build credibility at all levels, internally and externally.
- Engaging coaching style, able to build credibility at all levels, internally and externally
- Meticulous, with the ability to develop key statistical information, paying close attention to accuracy and detail.
- Highly proactive and able to work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with variety of internal and external customers at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadline, using own initiative.
