This company are looking to recruit a dedicated and hard working account handler to assist senior underwriters in the administration of both motor and non motor underwriting classes. The vast majority of work will involve property, liability and motor fleet classes, though the job holder will also be expected to handle some minor classes attached to scheme business clients.
The successful applicant will be liaising with both direct customers, partner sub brokers and insurers in the administration of existing business, including the checking and issuing of insurer documentation and compliance with contract certainty requirements.
The likely candidate will have 2+ years experience working within an insurance operation and ideally have experience of motor/property and casualty classes. Direct underwriting experience is not essential as we are happy to train the right candidate; attitude and aptitude are more important attributes.
Salary in the range £18,000 to £20,000, depending on experience. Normal working hours are between 9.00 am and 5.00pm Full benefits such as bonus scheme, pension, life insurance, health insurance, personal accident and permanent health also provided. The office has a no-smoking policy with a casual dress code.
