Integration Engineer Herts PC Support Training Avaya VOIP PBX CISCO Voice 30k
Leading name in telecoms and VOIP systems currently requires a integration engineer to work in their Hertford office with occasional travel to London.
To build and test PC’s with various operating systems along with my clients proprietary software, ensuring that these systems are free from virus or corruption.
To ensure system build and System Hardening procedures are documented and are kept up to date.
To mechanically build and test the hardware used within solutions dept; this includes fault finding to a board level and cabling.
To be aware of the functions of and liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient operation of Global Customer Services.
To liaise with and establish a good working relationship with other departments within the company.
To provide support and technical assistance to other departments in as required.
To review and comment on documentation produced by other departments, including all technical manuals, user guides, datasheets, product requirement specifications and various other documents.
To attend product meetings as a representative of Customer Engineering.
To expand your knowledge, both technical and non-technical, of equipment and the business environment in which they are deployed.
To be responsible for the safekeeping of the company's engineering equipment in your charge.
To bring to the Integration Leaders attention any matter, technical or otherwise, that changes or could affect timescales or costs.
To create, manage and host training for engineers and customers, for the SB534, VCM and i-series products plus all related products and procedures. To provide training on new and 3rd party products when required.
To host training both in Hertford and when required in other offices in various locations around the world.
To create installation guides, fault finding guides and best practise guides.
To provide sales support to all my clients office’s and agents, including reviewing system design, cabinet design and cost.
Required Skills
·Good understanding of PC Technologies, both Hardware & Software, Inc SQL.
·Good understanding of Data and Voice Networking Technologies.
·An understanding of PBX Technologies.
·Telecom or Electronics qualification, Degree, BTEC, NVQ or relevant employment experience.
·Good understanding of Cisco Voice Technologies would be desirable.
·Good understanding of Avaya Voice Technologies would be desirable.
