Client based in Sunderland are looking to recruit an Interim Senior Management accountant: Duties & Responsibilities include: ·Preparing the management accounts in order to ensure legal, group and business requirements are met. ·Managing aspects of the budget and forecast process in order to ensure budgets and forecasts are produced in a timely and accurate manner. ·Analysing and explaining sales and gross margin performance, including deviations from standard and budget by product and customer and recommending corrective action. ·Providing detailed ‘Standard’ formats for reporting true customer and product profitability, highlighting trends and recommending corrective action ·Managing the accounting of samples process, ensuring costs are minimised and corrective actions are taken as required. ·Providing reports on current sales and future orders with comparatives to prior year and seasons, including margin analysis. ·Preparing Ad hoc reports and KPI analysis ·Ad hoc responsibilities: financial evaluation and modelling Ideally looking for a finalist or recently qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA).
