Job Role

An exciting new position has arisen in the Internal Audit Function within Tesco Personal Finance`s Headquarters to carry out audits across Tesco Personal Finance, with a specific focus on the Insurance business. You will be responsible for delivering quality advice on balancing risk and control and cost, identifying business improvements that are better, simpler and cheaper, without compromising the desired balance between risk and control.
Requirements of the role:
- Provide a professional audit service to stakeholders through the assessment of risk and the evaluation of control processes, identifying issues and developing solutions in partnership with the business.
- Deliver audits in line with budgeted timescales and resource and in accordance with the audit methodolo
- Qualified Accountant and/ or Internal Auditor.
- Experience of working within an Internal Audit function in a Financial Services company.
- Experience of auditing General Insurance.
- The ability to solve problems, identify solutions and their potential impacts through qualitative & quantitative analysis areas of high business risk. Scenarios encountered are often complex covering cross-functional business processes.
- Experience of recommending change in business process to minimise risk, improve performance, and create better, simpler and cheaper operations is core to this role. TPF will be undergoing a period of significant, complex, and rapid change over the next three years. As such you need to
