Summary of Position
Reporting in to the Internal Audit Senior Manager and Director-International, this position is responsible for assisting Senior internal auditors in completing audit assignments within the international plan.Audit assignments are either by cycle (UK, France and Germany) or individual entity based on the size of the operations concerned.This position is also responsible for completing smaller audit assignments as In-charge to develop their auditing skills for eventual move to the Senior Auditor role.

Accountabilities
Complete tasks assigned by the In-charge auditor within audit assignments from planning stage through completion of fieldwork including discussion of issues identified with local management.Be able to complete other adhoc assignments as they arise such as management requests, due diligence, special investigations etc, all with required coaching.
Promote good honest work environment as well as ability to mentor and socialize with audit team both on assignment and at other times.

Audit team and staff at all levels within audit entities.
Business Knowledge/Educational Background
Essential: - French speaking
- Professional qualification / part qualification required (any of:-ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA, CPA, CIA) or Country equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in public practice or a similar role
- Able to establish good professional relationships within existing close team
- Passionate and analytical thinker
- Good communication skills both oral and written English and French
- Desire to learn and self motivated
Preferred:
- Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP
Challenges
Extensive travel across Europe, and in some cases South America (up to 40% of their time), which can sometimes be at short notice and therefore flexibility in your approach is essential.
