Internal Auditor (6 month FTC)
An opportunity to join our Clients Internal Audit team has arisen. We are looking for someone with internal audit experience and PIIA qualified or equivalent is desirable. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator at all levels and confident to challenge when required.
Key responsibilities include:-·Undertaking branch audits, reporting results to management and providing advice on the operation and implementation of controls
·Agreeing the scope of work to be undertaken with management, using business risk assessments to draw up process based audit programmes, performing audit work, agreeing and reporting results and providing feedback on risk assessments to stakeholders
·Using IDEA to write and run scripts for data selection and analysis and also audit application software to improve and maintain the efficiency of work undertaken.
Key attributes needed:-
·Internal audit experience is essential.
·Experience within Financial Services is desirable.
·PIIA or equivalent desirable.
·Excellent communication skills on all levels and the confidence to challenge
·Good report writing and verbal critical reasoning skills.
·An analytical and organised approach to work.
·The ability to work under pressure, on several work streams, and to meet deadlines.
·A positive attitude towards change and the ability to adjust quickly to working with a new business area each month.
Salary £24,500.00 Pro Rata Depending On Experience!
