Job Role

- To provide input into and maintain the annual audit plan which supports the delivery of Internal Audit objectives
- To take overall responsibility for the audit plan including planning, auditing and reporting in line with internal audit methodology
- To build relationships with management to ensure that:
=effective processes are in place to identify and manage risks
=the results of audit work are understood and corrective actions appropriately implemented
=best practices are shared within the Group
- To provide Executive Management and the Audit Committee with high quality reporting summarising Internal Audit activity and findings, progress in implementing agreed recommendations as well as an overall assessment of control environment and how this is changing in the Grou
-A good understanding of commercially focused auditing
- Proven communication skills both orally and in writing
- Initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving,
- Ability to exercise commercial judgement when assessing risks
- Credibility at Management and Board level, influencing and partnering
- Experience in delivering expert advice
There will be around 20% travel for this role.
We are looking for an Internal Auditor for this Business Services organisation based in the South West.
Up to £45,000 plus benefits

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
