Reed Finance’s client is a major services provider who operate throughout the UK.An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Internal Auditor to work with one of their key clients in the Central Belt.Reporting to the Business Assurance Manager you will undertake audit assignments as part of the delivery of an effective internal audit function.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assess and identify potential risk areas within the business units
- Work with the management team to deploy the agreed risk based planning tool to formulate the annual audit plan
- Delivering audit reports of an appropriate quality and content in a timely and effective manner
- Making suitable recommendations and agreeing appropriate actions with business management as part of the audit closure process
- Ensuring agreed audit actions carried out within the Business
- Carrying out investigations into suspected fraudulent activity
- Carrying out special projects work at the request of senior management
This role will suit an auditor with more than 1 year PQE.It is essential for the role that you are either a Qualified Accountant ( CA or ACCA) or Qualified Internal Auditor IIA combined with experience in Financial Services.
