Role: Internal Communications/ Internal Marketing Co-ordinator

6 month interim contract

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £25000 - £30000

Supporting the Engagement and Change Communications Team, the successful candidate will ensure that high-level business change programmes and new ways of working are fully communicated across the business.

The Role

·Communicate Change Programmes information to the business

·Produce communications plans for Change Programmes detailing key audiences, channels messages and timings

·Support Comms and Engagement Project Managers by:

oManaging printed material requirements and controlling the quality of its content

oLiaising with internal/external design agencies and print suppliers

oOffering input into comms material such as briefs, presentations, newsletters, DVDs

oWriting copy and preparing artwork in line with internal brand guidelines

oProof read & edit comms materials

oPrepare print ready PDFs for comms materials

·Manage intranet content, designing layout content and format, updating the site using a content management system and managing incoming web enquiries

·Co-ordinate the publication ofa monthly Internal Communications briefing

·Assist with planning and logistics for conferencing and events

·Maintain and update status reports and budget tracking for all comms activity

·Using creative thinking and design skills, continually improve the effectiveness of how we communicate with the business

The Person

·Degree educated or equivalent

·Previous experience in an internal communications environment

·A passion for design and the creation of effective communications

·Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

·Proficient Excel, Powerpoint and HTML skills

·Excellent communication and organisation skills

·Ability to manage projects and work to deadlines

·Understanding of content management systems
