Internal Sales Engineer – Photonics – Home Counties - 241114
My client who is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Photonics, optical components and instrumentation now requires an Internal Sales Engineer to support and promote sales within the UK.
You will be responsible for selling the full range of products, supporting field sales staff, and dealing with customer technical enquiries.
You will typically selling to markets including – academia, medical, space, scientific, and telecommunications, dealing with people from engineers to scientists and senior managers.
Responsibilities will include explaining product brochures and technical information to the customer, providing application support, as well as providing both written and verbal quotations to the customer.
The successful candidate would be a graduate physicist or similar, or someone with a proven B2B sales history within a similar role, would also be considered
The role will be working from the central office, although there will be some customer visits and exhibition attendance as and when required.
To succeed you will be motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be enthusiastic to meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
Salary – c£20 + Annual bonus scheme
Location – Home Counties.
