An excellent opportunity for an Internal Sales Co-ordinator in this Business Services organisation based in Sittingbourne, Kent.
A fantastic opportunity to join a market leader within the paper recycling industry. You will be the central point of contact between the Customers, logistics and the Mills; ensuring that orders are processed in the most efficient and cost-effective way for the Company whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction..
Your core duties will include:
Production Planning:
- Responsible for planning specific paper machines and scheduling production programmes.
Customer Service:
- Responsibility for specific customer accounts.
- Constant liaison with customers, mills, external sales team and colleagues.
- Entering and progressing orders; monitoring order intake and forecasts.
- Ensuring level of cover is maintained during busy periods and absences.
General:
- Capacity planning and stock management.
- Generating reports and information for customers and external sales team.
- Logging and responding to Helpdesk issues; dealing with customer complaints.
Who we're looking for
Ideally you will be educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with being numerate and computer literate. In addition previous experience in customer services and planning along with an understanding of mainframe computer systems would be an advantage.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate characteristics such as:
- Ability to work on own initiative, with little or no supervision
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Versatile/adaptable
