Job Description : 

Our client, a leading supplier of Civil and Building Materials is currently seeking to recruit a Internal Sales Exec to achieve agreed targets across a specified product range. The promotion and marketing of a specialist product range to our existing client base. To add value to their existing sales team.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Follow up enquiries, issue quotations, forward price list & literature

·Processing sales orders, cash sales & purchase orders

·Processing direct orders

·Providing basic technical advice and solutions

·Co-ordinate and contribute to the direct marketing activities of the sales office by email, fax, letter & newsletter

·Invoice queries & debit notes

·Liase with external sales people

·Telesales

·Generate quality leads (cold-calling, e-mails, referrals, brochure) and follow up, consistently aiming for high conversion rates.

·Achieve the objectives and targets set by the BusinessManager, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

·Pro-actively strive to have an in-depth understanding of the local market, including the branch market share and that of competitors.

·Ensure that all customers receive a professional, efficient, friendly, consistent and personalised service.

·Consistently demonstrate the ability to preempt and fully understand customer needs and requirements.

·Actively support the branch in achieving the highest levels of customer service feedback from clients,

·Proactively develop strong relationship with neighbouring branches andservice departments within theGroup

·Identify opportunities to work with and refer business to other branches.

·Work closely with the Sales Executive and Key Accounts to identify new business opportunities

·Adherence to Group ISO and Health and Safety policies and procedures

·Attending product training sessions as required to improve technical knowledge

·Other ad hoc duties as required by the Business Manager

The ideal person for this position will have good interpersonal skills, assertive selling and negotiation skills, be customer orientated and have good IT skills.
