Our client is a construction and engineering group with a turnover in excess of £2 billion. They are involved in a broad spectrum of construction activities including building, civil engineering, residential development and rail projects.
The majority of their turnover is delivered in the UK but they also have an established international business which operates in a number of locations in mainland Europe, the Far East, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
They are looking for an individual to take full responsibility for their business in the Middle East with an emphasis on developing business opportunities in Saudi Arabia. It is then hoped that from this foundation this individual will be able to expand operations into other countries including Oman, Qatar and Iraq and create a large integrated Middle Eastern business.
The right individual will have the following attributes:
- A strong operational background in the construction industry
- Management experience
- Experience of holding P+L accountability
- A demonstrable track record of operating in the Middle East, preferably Saudi Arabia
The ideal candidate will be able to base themselves from the UK but candidates based in the Middle East will also be considered.
