International Software House / Technical Consultant / up to 90k
A crutial role as a Technical Consultant dealing with not only pre and post sales but getting involved in the development and implementation of my clients world renowned technology.
You will participate in business and detailed technical discussions at all levels and in all clients departments to foster the adoption, use and deployment of the product.
Corporate presentations to customers and prospects at site visits, marketing events and such venues (topic includes strategic and tactical technical and business directions and technical product demonstrations) is also another major part to this role, along with providing consulting services for the Sales Department and other departments (Marketing, Support, Development, Documentation among others) as requested.
This is an incredibly important role within my clients organisation and requires an exceptional individual with both technical competencies and consultative / sales expertise.
Skills in one or more of the following are required:
- Object technologies
- Relational database concepts, SQL, ODBC and JDBC
- Web technologies including XML, HTML, Java, Java- and VBScript
- User interface environments such as Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Delphi
- Operating Systems including Windows NT/95; UNIX and Open VMS
- Exposure to system languages such as C, C++, shell scripting
