Job Role

This is an excellent opportunity with responsibilities in the following areas:
- accounting of investment transactions
- accounting for derivatives/swaps
- process improvement to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy for monthly closing cycle
- liaison with investment management firm and/or other outsourced service providers
- implementation of new investment accounting system
- ensure compliance with current and future accounting policies
- enhance control procedures and SOX compliance for the investment accounting area
- liaison with internal and external audit
You will be a qualified accountant preferably with FS or insurance background and have exposure to US GAAP.
