Working for a high net worth client, this person will:
~ Analyse market trends for securities, bonds and stocks.
~ Make recommendations about investments and implement deals in accordance with agreed parameters.
~ Advise the client on suitability of investments to ensure the best returns are consistent with the investment policy.
~ Research general developments in markets to try to forecast trends.
~ Research the economic, financial, political and other factors affecting markets and make appropriate recommendations to maximise the investment returns to the client.
~ Evaluate investment proposals and recommend those that will produce the best returns consistent with company policy.
~ Develop and implement techniques to ensure that investment objectives are achieved and to recommend changes as required.
~ Develop and maintain contacts with brokers and analysts to gain market information.
~ Negotiate deals with brokers and companies on behalf of the client to secure the best possible terms.
~ Maintain an awareness of economic, financial and political developments which might affect market trends.
This person will ideally hold a professional qualification in financial analysis, with training and experience in market analysis, skilled at negotiating, decision making and presenting. Excellent analytical skills, and qualified to degree level or equivalent.
