Position : Java Software Developer
Location : Docklands, London
Salary : £Competitive

The role will involve developing enterprise web applications taking advantage of open source Java technologies. As well as developing new products, the successful candidate will also create new and exciting features for our core products in the telecommunication and online payment sectors. You’ll be involved in all stages of the development process, from analysis and design to implementation and testing. Working in an agile environment, the successful candidate requires the ability to both work in a team and individually.

The successful candidate will have a solid experience in:

  • J2EE
  • JSF, IceFaces would be an advantage
  • SpringFramework or other IoC containers
  • Hibernate or other ORM
  • SQL Database technologies, PostgreSQL would be an advantage
  • Tomcat and/or JBoss application servers
  • Unit, Integration and Functional acceptance testing.
  • Web 2.0 technologies, AJAX
  • Linux experience would be an advantage
An understanding of of the following would be an advantage:
  • Web Services: SOAP and Rest
  • IT networking
  • GWT
  • Seam
