An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy team where you will be supporting and communicating between Buying and Merchandising and working closely with all aspects of the buying and stores organistion.
Principal Accountabilities
1.Launch Packs
• Plan & deliver consistent a corporate launch pack for each product category
• Plan and monitor the critical path for each product launch to ensure deadlines are met.
• Attend product sign off meetings
• Liaise with the Buying & Merchandising teams to understand key trends and product focus for the season
• Present initial ideal store layout to Buying Director & VM Mgr for sign off
• Merchandise each line by grade for each product category, to drive out ideal store layouts for each store format & grade
• Determine Key Layout & Merchandising Principles
• To with the display dept to develop new display elements
• To liaise with the marketing dept to determine the point of sale elements for each launch
• To manage the launch process for each product category within the given deadline
• Sign off all planograms, line listings, display elements and P.O.S
• Post Launch liaise with B & M to validate any extensions or new lines against the current display
• Liaise with Marketing & B &M to co ordinate and communicate promotional hot spots
• To work closely with Area & Store Mgrs to ensure the layout principles are consistently implemented
• To carry out store visits
2. Store Openings
• Hold VM training sessions with Area and Store Managers
• To understand store adjacencies, key layout and pricing principles by product category
• To visit on site to overview and assist in merchandising the store and ensure each category reflects the corporate launch packs.
• To drive out a consistent approach to product presentation through out each new or refitted store.
