The Company:
Our client is the largest and most prestigious manufacturer of clinical diagnostics and biomedical research products that are used in a number of different industries. They operate in virtually every country and have a set up that is world class. Their equipment is utilised by the finest hospitals, universities and laboratories to assist the latest Research and Development projects to try and eliminate human diseases. Having a clear business plan and two very separate divisions (Clinical Diagnostic and Biomedical research) has allowed our client to dominate the medical market place.
The Role of a Field Service Engineer:
You will be based from home and cover a set geographical region working Monday – Friday. Your role will involve service, repair and maintenance of a wide range of complex Medical/Laboratory equipment.
This is an exciting role which will enable the right candidate to utilise a variety of skills, visit new environments, and face new challenges on a day to day basis.
Key Skills:
As a field service engineer for this multinational organisation you will ideally have an approved qualification in Electrical/Electronic engineering (HNC, HND or higher). Applications are welcome from current field service engineers either from within the market place or other similar/allied industries, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, high speed automation, printing and research and development. Engineers looking to ignite their career and progress to specialist roles within realistic time scales are requested to apply. You will also need to have exceptional communication and customer facing skills as you will be dealing with emotional and tentative situations. Although candidates with industry experience will be at an advantage, it is not essential as all applications with relevant qualifications will be considered for the role.
