Despite already achieving substantial growth this company still has scope to grow and is looking to diversify into new markets and are consequently looking to invest into the site to increase production. The Role of a Electrical Engineer:
As an electrical maintenance engineer your role will be not only be challenging but also varied. You will be responsible for the wide range of industrial machinery on site including; dryers, palletisers, and conveyers and associated production equipment. The role will comprise of planned and preventative maintenance however you will also have the opportunity to get involved in the installations and upgrades of the machinery on site. You would be working on 3 shift rotating day’s pattern with overtime available to complement your basic salary.
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate would possess strong electrical and electronic skills and be confident working on 3 phase motors, switchgear, and relays etc. You would have needed to have achieved both a City and Guilds in electrical engineering and a 16th or 17th Edition. The successful candidate would have had experience in a manufacturing background and be comfortable in this environment as you will be joining an established team.
