Junior Graphic Designer / Mac Artworker - Print Industry
Bolton, Greater Manchester
Up to £17,000 Plus Contributory Pension, Generous Holiday Entitlement
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Graphic Designer / Mac Artworker to join our client, one of the UK's leading online printing brands.
This is the ideal role for a creative designer with excellent Mac skills. We're looking for someone who's full of enthusiasm. Someone prepared to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in and do whatever it takes to keep customers happy and the presses running.
As a Junior Graphic Designer / Mac Artworker, you will be responsible for preparing and imposing customer-supplied artwork ready for print. You will also liaise with customers, interpret their design briefs, prepare sparking concepts and generate 'right-first-time' print-ready artwork.
In addition, you will respond to customer enquiries via the telephone and by email, therefore excellent written and verbal communications are essential, as is the ability to manage your time in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
To be considered for this position you must have experience using a Mac and a relevant degree (or equivalent). You must also have proficiency using the majority of the following:
- Quark Xpress
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
