HR / Learning & Development Manager - St Albans - £28,000 for 36 hr week
An experienced generalist HR Manager with a real passion for L&D is required to work within the small HR team for this educational based charity.Working with the HR Manager, you will develop, implement and maintain a proactive Learning and Development function along with delivering a number of key training programmes for the organisation. You will support continuous professional development of staff at all levels within the company. As part of the role you will also be involved in maintaining the training database, booking venues and organising the logistics for training events. L&D is the focus of the role, but you will also have an extensive HR background and be comfortable deputising for the HR Manager.You will be CIPD qualified, along with experience of learning and development initiatives from identification, design and development and delivery of learning strategies. Knowledge of employment law is also important as you will be deputising for the HR Manager. You will also have excellent communication and presentation skills.
