We are currently recruiting for a multi £million turnover company based in Manchester. We are looking for strong lead generators / Appointment makers who want to progress into Field Sales in the future.
You will be responsible for generating lead opportunities for the Company's external field reps to sell Services to both private and public sector markets.
Hours: Monday to Friday business hours
Salary: £18-21k (after probation it raises to £21k) + uncapped OTE (£25-30k+ in year ONE)
Your duties will include:
Making good quality, well qualified appointments for the external sales team.
Sourcing own leads for business development
Researching organisations / decision makers
Assist with closing of deals and account management and new accounts
You must have:
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to develop new business and source own leads
Tenacity
Ability to qualify appointments - make sure its a worthwhile meeting
Ability to cross sell
Ability to identify new markets and areas of opportunity
We require:
Direct business development | cold-calling experience
Business-to-business sales experience - Proven track record
We'd Prefer candidates who have experience of selling concepts eg insurance, protection, BUPA etc, not tangible goods
Basic IT literacy – Microsoft Suite
Lead sourcing skills
Closing skills.
