LIMS Specialist required on a 6-9 months contract for our pharmaceutical client based in Runcorn. The client will be implementing a new Labware LIMS system on site and therefore experience at Labware LIMS Administrator or Superuser level is essential for this role.
Purpose of Role:
We have a vacancy for the role of LIMS Specialist to work primarily within our QC Chemistry Department. The position, reporting to the LIMS Project Manager, is important to the successful activities of the function, and the implementation and roll-out of Labware LIMS to around 30 chemistry and microbiology technicians, and support staff.
The main purpose of this position is to provide specialist advice, resource and support for the implementation of Labware LIMS. Working alongside the LIMS Project Manager, you will complete the necessary activities from the defined project implementation plan, ensuring full compliance with both the company and global regulatory requirements. The role would be ideal for an experienced lab-based user of Labware LIMS who was seeking a new challenge.
Key Results Area:
- Provide specialist knowledge of LIMS
- Input into the design of validation and verification documentation
- Execution of the validation plan
- Review of testing and verification data
- Generation of training material
- Training of staff
- Administration support
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience of using Labware LIMS at Administrator or Superuser level [mandatory]
- Knowledge of cGMP computer validation requirements
- Experience of application software testing and validation processes
- Experience in pharma industry lab environment.
