Our client our looking for a Laboratory Analyst/Technician to join their team for an 8 month contract.
The Role -
Perform Chemical Water Analysis
Organise workloads, including booking in samples, prioritising work according to test requirements using a computerised computer.
Perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment as required.
Education -
Minimum degree in a science subject (Chemistry or Biochemistry)
Experience -
Analytical laboratory experience, ideally in a chemical testing laboratory
Requirements -
LIMS Administrator or well versed in LIMS implementation - essential
Analytical skills including HPLC, GC and wet analytical techniques.
Preferred Skills -
Experience of working in a high throughput, lean environment.
Capable of prioritising workload to meet tight deadlines.
