Laser Technical Assistant
Location: Mildenhall
Salary: £15 to 20k, pension after qualifying period
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Hours of work: 8am - 5pm Mon to Fri, 4 weeks holiday
Applicants: Ideally you will have RADAN experience - however, we will consider applicants with AutoCAD experience as long as you have laser experience.
The COMPANY
Our client is local employer of over 20 full time staff, and provide a broad range of manufacturers with tube bending & rolling, laser cutting and fabrication work throughout the UK.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
*Create 2D drawings in RADAN.
*Import CAD drawings into RADAN.
*Generate programmes for laser cutting.
*Set and operate laser machines (ideally Bystronic machines).
*Act as cover for holiday and sickness to Laser operator.
*Validate new and modified part drawings.
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants with the following experience:
*Hands on Laser cutting and operating experience are essential.
*Ideally you will have RADAN experience - however, we will consider applicants with AutoCAD experience as long as you have laser experience.
*You will be required to work in a close knit team and be able to work on your own initiative.
