Undertake tasks and lead multiple work packages

Chartered Engineer. Degree in an electronic / electrical engineering discipline with c10 years post qualification experience in a metro railway environment. HNC / HND would be acceptable if coupled with additional experience and training that brings the candidate to an equivalent level.
o MIRSE or FIRSE; MIET or FIET, or equivalent.
o Has previously worked successfully at a senior level within one or more major rail projects in the UK or overseas. Ideally has fulfilled senior roles in both 'client' and 'contractor' organisations
o Currently, or previously, IRSE Licensed in any 'Principle' level category. Internal company licences and un-licence able experience (such as pre-dating IRSE licences in relevant category or higher academic qualifications) would be considered for equivalence.
o Analysing user requirements and standards requirements and developing system requirements.
o Computer literate in all Microsoft office applications with some knowledge and experience of the use of railway simulation tools and requirements management software.
o Awareness of relevant engineering standards e.g. BSI, ISO LUL Cat 1 Standards
o Familiar with IEE regulations and Railway Signalling Safety Principles and guidance.
