Lead Accountant, Financial Management
Location : Nationwide House, Swindon
Salary: up to 41,623 depending on skills and experience

About the role
Joining our Financial Management team, you’ll focus on our Banking and Credit Card and Personal Loan activities. In particular, you’ll be closely involved in forecasting, reporting and budgeting as you look at income and revenue generation, and at any expenses associated with running these products. You’ll also help improve our profitability by supporting our work to gain new customers and grow our books. This means assessing the external and internal costs of running the products and weighing up the regulatory impact of any changes we want to make.
About you
You could come from any background, although ideally you’ll have product experience within Financial Services or a large organisation. You’ll certainly have been involved in product budgeting and worked on income and cost forecasting. We’ll also look for a professional qualification and strong technical finance ability as well as experience of product profitability methodologies and reporting business performance using a range of tools. Excellent communication and influencing skills will be vital, as are a thorough approach, good attention to detail and commercial awareness. Passionate about inspiring others to succeed, you'll also have the confidence to establish credibility quickly.
