The person:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in design, engineering, and modifications of static equipment, process piping, and pipelines for an operating onshore/offshore oil & gas processing facilities. Hands on experience in maintenance and project execution are preferred.
- Knowledge of the relevant international standards and codes of practice normally used such as API, ANSI, ASME, and ISO is required.
- Experience in pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II and/or Pressure vessel design/design verification with the help of software like PV ELITE, COMPRESS, B-JAC, CODECALC, NOZZLE PRO etc. is mandatory. Additional experience in AutoPIPE is desirable.
- Experience in using ANSYS finite element analysis software is preferred.
- Experience in handling of operating plant issues like resolution of piping vibration issues, lead/participate in equipment & piping root cause failure investigation efforts, participate/contribute as subject matter expert in scenario based risk assessment of issues affecting plant reliability and integrity will be considered as added plus.
- Experience in leading engineering team to support project conceptual studies, conducting technical review, making assessment of the detailed engineering studies being conducted by consultants, contractors and other external agencies is a must.
Role/Responsibilities: - Provide technical advice and support on the design, engineering, construction, and modification of static equipment, piping, pipelines, and valves selection.
- Subject Matter Expert for Mechanical and Pipeline Engineering specifications.
- Lead discipline teams. Delegates, organizes, and supervises work for senior mechanical engineering staff.
- Work supervision, training, and mentorship of mechanical engineering graduates.
