Lead Web Developer, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, SQL Server, Bromsgrove, West Midlands. A brilliant opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding software house based in Bromsgrove. The company develops web, desktop and mobile applications for a range of different blue chip organisations including Porsche, Orange, T-Mobile, Blackberry, Volkswagen and Audi. Due to the continued success of the company they are looking to recruit a Lead Web Developer who can have a real impact on how the firm continues to develop.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record developing high end solutions with C# / ASP.Net and strong SQL Server skills. You must also have at least 1 years commercial experience working with an MVC framework. Applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant topic and have a minimum of 2 years commercial .Net development experience across the full development life cycle. Additional skills required include XML, Web Services, XHTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery as well as an exceptional grasp of OOD / OOP.
The role will suit a talented developer with a genuine interest in cutting edge development, backed up by an involvement in the "developer scene" (e.g. Twitter, User Groups, Blogs etc.). Due to the nature of the position it is essential that you have had previous experience within a client facing role and are comfortable with and capable of leading a small team of other developers.
