Description of Role
Here at Kerry Foods, we are totally committed to achieving operational excellence at all of our sites through the implementation of a major Lean manufacturing programme. To support the implementation of Lean at our convenience foods manufacturing facility in Attleborough, we are looking for a Lean Co-ordinator who will manage, monitor and track the development and progress of the project against plan, and also develop and lead the Lean training programme. As the guardian of Lean on site, you will provide the education and communication to ensure that the principles and practices of Lean manufacturing are fully embraced.
You will need to be passionate and knowledgeable about the principles and tools of Lean manufacturing and have performed the role of Lean Trainer and Facilitator in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you’ll need strong planning, organisation and project-management skills to ensure that our journey is fully measured and project risks are identified and addressed.

Key Responsibilities
Leading and driving key projects to support the implementation of Lean on siteDeveloping and delivering a Lean Training ProgrammeGuiding and supporting the site Leadership Team in their transformation plans for a Lean manufacturing facilityWorking with employees and managers to create Standard Operating ProceduresEnsuring a consistent base for Lean practices, including the identification of waste, 5S, Visual Management, Process Mapping etc Previous experience- Knowledge and experience of Lean manufacturing techniques
- Experience of training and educating others in Lean tools and principles
- Experience in a high speed manufacturing environment, advanced in Lean principles
- A track record in team facilitation or supervision
Qualifications
