Randstad are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity with a well established letting agency in the Swansea area.
A motivated and proactive individual with exceptional customer service skills is required to work in a busy office environment. Due to the nature of the position, you will also be required to visit properties to conduct general inspections and to follow up customer/owner issues.
Duties will include:
- Advising customers face to face and over the phone.
- Taking payments and administrating bookings.
- Balancing daily payments.
- Following up customer complaints in an efficient and effective manner.
- Reporting to owners any damages or issues arising from tenants.
- Evaluating damages and breakdowns within properties and organising emergency repairs on behalf of owners accordingly.
- Assisting in finding suitable trades personel to undertake any neccessary work.
- Making replacement purchases on behalf of owners for properties.
- Inspecting prospective properties and conducting annual property checks.
- Liaising with sub contractors (i.e. cleaning companies)
- Preparing property descriptions and photography for the inclusion in marketing tools (brochure, website, press ads etc.)
- Uploading details of available properties onto the relevant websites.
Pre-requisites:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to pay attention to detail
- Strong IT skills (competent user of Microsoft Office and Outlook)
- Experince of sales and customer care
- Administrative skills and knowledge of office procedures.
- Educated to at least A-level standard or equivalent
- Local knowledge of Swansea/ Gower is an advantage
- An interest in photography, knowledge of graphic packages ( i.e. Photoshop) and the ability to utilise a camera would be advantage.
- Marketing experience would also be a distince advantage.
The successful applicant must have a Full UK driving licence and a car owner.
