Linux Systems Engineer - Web Hosting / ISP
Location: Stevenage - Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire Borders
Salary - to £38,000 + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer / Administrator who will have previous experience of working within an ISP / Hosting environment. The successful candidate will join a managed service provider where they will gain exposure to leading edge technologies.
- Essential Skills -
- In depth Linux / UNIX knowledge
- You will ideally have previous experience of working in an ISP / Hosting / Data Centre environment
- Networking Configuration and security: routing, VLANs, port filtering, firewall configuration, dual-homed systems, VPN etc
- Working knowledge and understanding of virtualization technologies and processes using XEN is highly desirable
- RHCE or RHCA qualifications are desirable
This is a superb opportunity for a Web Hosting Engineer or senior Linux systems administrator to further their career with a growing IT solutions provider based near Stevenage.
