Knowledge of and ability to apply the law relating to civil litigation
A working knowledge of the law relating to the conduct of Local Authority civil litigation, contract and property law, especially residential and commercial landlord and tenant law,
A thorough knowledge of the civil procedure rules, specifically debt recovery and enforcement procedures in the civil courts;
Ability to obtain and evaluate evidence, prepare opinions and advices, draft pleadings and other court documents with minimum supervision;
Ability to provide advice on new legislation, case law and other developments.
Experience of electronic case management systems: Iworld and Docushare and experience of complying with good practice management standards, such as Lexcel.
