We are seeking a live in Sheltered Scheme Manager to join a national organisation who are a leader in care, health and housing for older people. This Scheme Manager post is permanent and would require the successful candidate to work and live on site. You would be provided with your own accommodation and your rent and utility bill costs will be met by the company.
Based on a modern development in Bury incorporating 33 flats, you will ensure all tenants receive a high quality service, providing support where necessary, whilst encouraging a sense of independence.
As Scheme Manager you will also take the lead on resident involvement activities and encourage tenants to develop social activities which already include weekly coffee mornings, bingo 3 times weekly, entertainment arranged in-house, and community trips.
In addition to supporting tenants, you will have overall responsibility for the running of the scheme and this will include marketing and letting of flats, financial management including rent accounting and budget setting, coordination of scheme repairs and maintenance, and promotion of the organisation in the local community.
