Well respected manufacturer and global distributer of specialist clothing, apparel and uniforms is looking to appoint a Made to Measure Coordinator to assist them with coordinating the manufacture of custom made uniforms and specialist clothing. With decades of experience in this field, this company offers a 'one stop shop' solution to clients both nationally and internationally.
Reporting to the Production Planner, you will provide administrative support for your manager to ensure timely supply of garments within the made to measure contracts. Broadly this role involves the processing, monitoring and reporting of orders to ensure planned dates will be achieved by the tailors for made to measure items and the manufacturing network for the made to fit items. In this busy role you will communicate with customers, planners, tailors and manufacturing sites and subcontractors to resolve any outstanding manufacturing issues such as alterations, remake and all other general queries. This role also will require intrastate and interstate travel to assist with fittings.
To be considered for this role, you will have worked in the garment industry ideally having completed clothing studies in garment construction (RMIT Clothing Industry Studies or VCE Textile Studies) and wish to work in an administrative role supporting specialised garment manufacturing. Candidates with proven experience within coordination of subcontract manufacturing or computerised planning control systems in the textile industry will be highly regarded. You will be a confident easy going individual who enjoys a fast paced, challenging role. It is expected that you will have basic to intermediate IT skills within Word and Excel.
