MARKETING ASSISTANT
ROCHDALE, MANCHESTER
£16,000 - £18,000 dependant on experience
Due to continued success an opportunity has arisen to join one if the fastest growing online brands and Automotive Group in he UK.
We are looking for a hungry, highly motivated and dynamic Marketing Assistant with a strong bias towards strong copywriting and online marketing skills to be involved in generating marketing materials, e-marketing campaigns, producing website content for SEO purposes and helping to plan planning and execute marketing campaigns.Key Responsibilities
•Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business.
•Preparation and implementation of website, email and SMS copy.
•Assisting with Social Media Activities including Online Display and policing forums, blogs and networking sites.
•Assisting with the preparation of Management Information.
•Researching topics and writing articles for e-newsletter publications.
•Assisting with the development advertising opportunities, which may involve placing adverts in national, regional and specialist publications, online, TV, radio, mobile - SMS.
•Maintaining and building relationship with our PR agency and associated media contacts
•Writing and distributing press releases
•Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, POS for sites - this will involve writing and proofreading copy and liaising with studio on design, print and fulfilment.
•Maintaining and updating mailing databases for e-marketing purposes.
•Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
•Evaluating marketing campaigns
•Monitoring competitor activity
•Supporting the Marketing manager and other colleagues on all brand ABL and BTL activities.
•Contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies.
This is an excellent opportunity where you will gain first hand experience in the field of Marketing, work within a fast pace, challenging and highly rewarding environment.
You will be educated to degree level in a relevant business / marketing field with 12months work experience in a Marketing related role. You must also have a solid background in English, ideally A Level English or equivalent.
