Recruitment is the leading rec to rec consultancy specialising in recruitment
roles in creative and marketing services.
One of our clients is the world’s leading
recruiter at board level within the advertising and media industry. All the
roles they place are at CEO level or equivalent and 80% of the placements they
make are outside the UK. They are quite simply the best connected advertising
and media recruiter in the world.
After weathering the recession very comfortably
they are looking to expand significantly over the next two years into a number
of related sectors.They are interested in any sector that would be able to
leverage off their very high end relationships in the communications world but
of particular interest are PR, Integrated Marketing, Client-side Marketing,
Integrated Communications, Design and HR & Finance(into media).
They are looking to recruit at one of two levels,
Partner or Consultant.
Both options will already be working in
recruitment but almost certainly with industry experience beforehand.
Candidates at Partner level are most likely to be in Executive Search or in a
Contingent recruiter at the highest level whilst Consultant could be a junior
in a search firm or a well connected contingency recruiter. In both cases you
will be extremely embedded in the market you recruit into, very knowledgeable
about your sector, a fantastic networker, and able to pick up the phone to
senior clients and candidates knowing you’ll get straight through.
You must be able to demonstrate a strong billing
record, although allowances will obviously be made for the last 18 months, but
equally as important is that you must be professional and ethical and able to
work on confidential and often sensitive briefs with no danger of your
discretion slipping.
Salaries are extremely attractive, the more junior
roles carry basics of between £50,000 and £60,000 while the Partner positions
are six figure basics. In both cases there are generous bonus payments too and
equity is available at Partner level.
These really are the most exciting positions to
have come along for a number of years and represent a fantastic opportunity
genuinely shape the industry you recruit into as well as your own career.
