MI Analyst, Resource Planning & Forecasting

unspecified · Glasgow, Lanarkshire

We have opportunities in this role in Glasgow.

Your support, our success

Business intelligence: it can't be underestimated when you're a leading retail bank like Barclays. It's what we use to ensure we're staying on top of it all, and doing a great job of keeping our customers happy. Working in Technical Operations Support, you'll be behind the intelligence we use to keep our retail processing centres running smoothly. Within the MI, resource planning and forecasting team for these centres, you'll enjoy a wide ranging role that'll give good exposure across the business - not to mention an ideal platform from which to launch your retail banking career.

What you'll give our customers as a Technical Operations Support

Ensuring the highest standards of MI quality and integrity will be yours to do. You'll deal with a range of Business Intelligence - fixing small issues where you can, and handing the trickier ones over to our MI experts. Your technical know-how and eye for detail will ensure we've the most accurate information at hand to keep fine-tuning the service we offer our customers.

What you'll get in return

Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you'll get the same in return. We're not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You'll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.

What you'll need as a Technical Operations Support

The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need to be lateral thinker, someone who recognises what drives performance and communicates it well. Your technical know-how will really need to impress.

That means knowing Teradata ( and ideally Business Objects and Hummingbird ) like the back of your hand, and having experience of database management and analysis. A whizz with MS Excel and Access, you'll also have a sound grounding in other MS Office tools. Top that off with excellent analytical and numeric skills, and you'll have what we want from a Technical Operations Support.

We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.

Careers built around customers.
