MINING ENGINEER
LOCATION: Yorkshire
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £20-30,000 (benefits, pension, bonus, private healthcare)
COMPANY INFORMATION:

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Identification and assessment of economic and viable coal reserves
- Undertake desk top studies and project appraisals
- Engineering design of project sites to application and commencement standards including plan preparation
- Assist Project Managers with preparation of environmental impact assessments and planning applications as appropriate
- Supervise and evaluate site investigations and prospecting programmes
- Support the Resources Manager in identifying and quantifying 4 m tonnes of coal per annum
- Experience of designing mining schemes
- Experience of using modelling systems in undertaking design work and volumetric assessments
- Computing experience with Microsoft office exp
Must Have:-
- HND/degree or equivalent mining engineering
- Engineering Surveying, Civil engineering or similar specialist field
- Full UK driving license
Desirable skills
- Mine designing experience using LSS
- Computing experience with office suite 2007
- Chartered Professional Status
- Higher level of education
