Machine Operator - Manufacturing

£27,991 Plus Pension, Subsidised Canteen, Life Assurance
As the UK's number one operator in the fruit juice market, our client is known for their quality products and low costs. A unique opportunity has now arisen for a Machine Operator to join their team.
For this role our client is looking to recruit someone from a manufacturing background to process, manufacture and deliver finished products that meet company and customer requirements.
This position requires a dedicated, resourceful and hardworking team-player who is able to contribute to creating and sustaining a positive culture and world class manufacturing environment.
Working as part of a continental shift pattern, as a Machine Operator your duties will include:
- Ensuring conformance of products to required specifications
- Undertaking appropriate QC checks
- Carrying out routine maintenance
- Assisting the senior operator with engineering support
- Operating mixer and UHT plant, and fillers and all ancillary equipment
To be considered for this position you must have manufacturing experience ideally gained within a food or drink environment. You should also have excellent time keeping, the ability to work as part of a team, and good communication skills.
Any bottle blowing experience would be beneficial to your application.
This position commences in January 2010.
