Role - Machine Tool Fitters
Sector - Production Engineer
Based - Leicestershire
Salary - £25-£30,000 per annum (dependant on experience) Plus Benefits and Overtime
* THE OPPORTUNITY -
Our client, an award winning transatlantic engineering company who supply and service major blue chip companies are looking to recruit after substantial investment and growth plans, a manufacturer of specialist machine tools recognized as a provider of high quality machines with excellent after sales service they are at the forefront of their industry leading in new technologies both in design, development and manufacture. They are currently looking for an experienced Machine Tool Fitter to work from their state of the art manufacturing facility.
* ABOUT YOU -
You will be an experienced Mechanical Fitter who has worked within a machine tool environment and as a minimum have the following skills :
- Alignment of Linear rails and ball screws.
- Machine geometry
- Working to tight tool room tolerances
- Grinding, scraping and other adjustment techniques
- Pneumatic and hydraulic pipe work
- Working to assembly drawings
- Some basic knowledge of CNC operation
Additionally you will have
- Good knowledge of manufacturing methods
- Good level of education
- A logical and analytical approach to problem solving
- Flexible, with a good attitude to work
- Being highly motivated, confident and organized with keen attention to detail
- Ability to absorb technical information quickly and being able to perform tasks whilst under pressure
- PC Literate
- Good Level of numeracy and literacy
